What’s with the fecking jQuery tutorials?
That’s not Javascript. That’s a shortcut to Javascript meaning that if you just used jQuery you wouldn’t understand what Javascript is doing in the background.
It’s like people who use WordPress and make out they are great at developing sites but when you ask them what PHP is they don’t have a clue.
Javascript is Javascript.
jQuery is a collection of pre-made Javascript functions that define how things work but are not the original Javascript workings.
Also, if you’re going to show jQuery..how about letting people know about MooTools. That Javascript library that’s more stable and less intensive?
