13 Most Wanted Features Users Want To See In Apple iPad 2

Apple iPad – surely one of the best gadget of year 2010. It was one of the most top selling product from the Apple company till know. Now, every other company is trying to achieve the same huge leap as Apple iPad and releasing tablets one after another. You must have already seen Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom, Adam Notion Link Tab and more to come in the recent future. But, no tablet comes near as iPad when it comes to advancement, hardware, operating system, crystal clear display, apps and most of all trust of Apple company.

iPad is a major success in the tablet market and to take full advantage, Apple is ready to announce the next version of iPad on this Wednesday, March 2nd. While, iPad is surely an amazing gadget, but there are some features and changes that can be brought to make it even more amazing and a way ahead from the emerging competition.

There are many gadgets freaks out there must be waiting for the day when Apple will announce iPad 2 and there are lots of speculation already taking place about the new features and functions that will come in Apple iPad 2. Though, Apple iPad originally is a  a gorgeous gadget having great piece of hardware and software but to keep pace with the ever increasing competition it has to come up with the extra edge.

Apple iPad 2 announcement is just two days away, it’s never too late to start speculating about what would be the features and functions should be on the next version? So, I thought it’s the best time to come up with a list of much needed features users want to see in the next version of iPad. There are also rumors that Apple will soon announce its another pretty gadget, i.e. iPhone 5 and we already covered a list of features that users want to see in Apple iPhone 5.

If you are truly an iPad fan or thinking of buying this product, you should wait for some time before purchasing the recent version and have a look on the features that may come in iPad 2. Here’s the list of 13 most wanted features users want to see in Apple iPad 2 to make it even more better. 1. iPad 2 – Front Facing Camera and FaceTime : Front facing camera should be there in a advance gadget like iPad for applications like Skype or iChat. Because of portability in compared to laptops, it will be great to use front facing camera as a webcam and have chat with your loved ones (even for a business too) on Skype or iChat video calls.

As well as, FaceTime software should be pre-installed for video calling. I don’t know why both these features haven’t sported in the first version when iPhone 4 has both front facing camera and pre-installed FaceTime.

2. iPad 2 – High Quality Camera : Though front-facing camera and FacetTime is a good option but my personal choice is to have a decent rear-facing camera like it’s in iPhone 4. There are many advantages of having a good quality camera other than photography such as Instagram, scanning business cards or documents Augmented reality apps and much more.

3. iPad 2 – Better Screen Display : If you have seen iPhone 4 retina display, I am sure you couldn’t resist to compliment it. How about taking the same technology and implement in the next version of iPad? And if not retina display – improvement in brightness, contrast, wide viewing angle is more than enough to make it more perfect device for reading ebooks, playing games, watching movies and photos, etc.

4. iPad 2 – USB Port : Can anyone tell me why Apple play like a devil when it comes to put ports onto their devices! Seriously, one USB port will be a nice addition in iPad too. It will surely come handy when you need to connect a keyboard because typing in touch devices are not that user friendly when it comes to serious work. Not to forget, you can use USB port to connect external hard drives for data transfer and backup. If they add USB port, hopefully they will sport USB 3.0 that offers much faster transfer of data than its present version.

5. iPad 2 – Integrated SD Card Reader Slot : This will be another major improvement many of you surely want to have in iPad 2. Though, Apple’s Camera Connection Kit is quite good in its working but taking care of another device (dongle) is surely not convenient for many of you. At least, I have a big time problem with my memory – I always leave me gadgets here and there. So, its better to have a built-in SD card slot to make things easy.

6. iPad 2 – More Storage Capacity : For most of the users, 32 GB or 64 GB ipad model is more than enough to store the data. But there are many heavy users out there who love to play heavy games, watch movies, listen songs like crazy and iPad memory storage ends quickly at this moment. It will be nice to see if Apple increase the internal memory space up to 128 GB  in the new iPad 2. Its always be great to have more memory space to store your favorite things in your devices.

7. iPad 2 – Improved Dock Connector : Tell me seriously how many of you really like the present dock connector? I am also one of them who don’t like the 30-pin dock connector. First of all, it’s not strong enough, hard to put in a bad light conditions and the size makes me crazy. How about the Dual Dock connector, it will allow users to dock them in both and landscape and portrait mode. Even extra dock will help yo to connect something else while your iPad is still docked.

8. iPad 2 – Slimmer, Lighter, Durable : Apple is a company that always be trusted for making durable and slimmer products. Like in case of MacBooks or iPhone 4, they are of good build quality and much lighter in comparison to their competitors product. Presently, iPad is much heavier than it looks – after few minutes my arms feel like having hard work working on it. So, we would expect that iPad 2 will be lot thinner, lighter and more durable than its present version. Well, I am not in favor of iPad 2 made of plastic bodies but a lighter metal surface for the base will be good. Let’s see how Apple would look into this matter?

9. iPad 2 – Kickstand : Slimmer and lighter iPad 2 will be priority. But, Apple if you can’t make it lighter why not providing a Kickstand? I am sure you are thinking that there are number of iPad stands available in the market but I think its good to have integrated Kickstand in the iPad rather than carrying other piece of hardware in the bag. Just imagine that you will get a sliding Kickstand in the back of iPad that let will help you to set your iPad either in landscape or portrait mode. I am sure you will be much happy rather than buying Kickstand from third-party provider.

10. iPad 2 – Make 3G Standard : Well, you know that not everyone in this world will carry iPad with movies, music stored in its memory. Tablets relies too much on Internet Data services so why not make 3G chip as a standard feature of every iPad model rather than leaving your consumer in the tough choice. I think Apple have a idea that now every part of the world is Wi-Fi so it’s reasonable to manufacture every iPad model with 3G chip. What do you say?

11. iPad 2 – Sun – adaptive Screen : This is the only area where I can say that Apple need a huge improvement. You can easily point-out that you can’t see the iPad screen clearly in the direct sunlight. While, Samsung Galaxy Tab and Nintendo 3DS have the ability to view the screen without much burden the sunlight. Technology is already out there, the only thing is Apple have to adapt it to make iPad much better than ever.

12. iPad 2 – Flash Support : Ok, I know, it’s just a dream. We all know how much Steve love Adobe Flash but still seeing dreams is not a bad thing. You never know which one of your dream come true some day. I am sure you also love to see Flash sites or games or videos running on your beloved iPad 2.

13. iPad 2 – 4G Network Compatibility :  AT & T, Sprint and Verizon rolled up their 4G Data networks, we only hope to see iPad 2 will be compatible with next generation data network. Don’t be surprised when 4G will be the next big thing and hopefully replace 3G in the future sometime. Let’s see Apple is working on the 4G compatible version of iPad.
